SPOTLIGHT ON THE CANDIDATES is an event that features City of Boston Mayoral and City Council candidates delivering their message in a unique way; not through debate, stump speech, nor panel discussion but through the performing arts!

Each candidate has five minutes to present their message and can choose any category of performing arts.

In 2005 and 2007, nearly all of the candidates running for office in Boston participated, bringing to the stage their own unique brand of poetry, monologues, music, and comedy.

Come see the incumbents and challengers deliver what can't be expressed in mere stump speeches and debates.
